I also discovered Keen's by accident while just trying to get off the sidewalk after the the Thankskgiving Day parade a couple of years ago. As I stepped into the restuarant, I seemed to step back in time. To bad I didn't have a reservation for the Thanksgiving dinner they were just about to serve, so we sat in the bar. The barman took pity on us and asked the kitchen to serve us some of the smoked oyster chowder and bread. We had a couple of pints with it and it remains a favorite Thanksgiving story.
